1.0.1RC2

Fixed a few remaining errors from the last release. This should solve any “stream errors” or failed include errors you might have been getting. The pages-to-wiki function was also improved.

This release is confirmed to fix the “has_cap” error on the settings page.

If there are no more bug reports I’ll go ahead and make this live.

I just inform you there is an unanswered important bug report in the wordpress forum: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpress-wiki-all-existing-wiki-post-disappeared

  2. Matthew says:

Thanks! I responded to the forum post.

  3. Sam Morris says:

Any chance of allowing unregistered users to edit pages?

  4. Btw, any news on the site-update front? I’m dying to have a forum to throw some ideas back and forth on =P

I’m not a very technical guy, but I do know a fair bit about good structure and I’m pretty good at powering my way through the more tedious tasks involved with maintaining a website. Say the word and I’d be happy to lend a hand.

Yet the same problem with this release, when I try changing the content from the frontend, it gives me “you don’t have permission to do that”.

Third post I’m mentioning this in, I’m guessing this isn’t a hard thing to answer, since it does work with the normal twentyten, just not when I use my custom theme.

Tbh, I’m not the only one having trouble with it.

Hope it gets answered this time around. ^^

    • Better theming support. The stylesheet is easy to get to, as well as the markup for the front-end editor, but we’ll be making this even easier shortly.

I think this is pretty much what you’re asking for.

      • Xevo says:

No I don’t care about the theming atm. There’s just some wordpress tag or something missing in my theme that gives me this “bug”. Since when I switch to twentyten theme, the plugin works like it’s supposed too.

And if they add something like is_wikipage() then you could easily change your single.php file and make a “custom” theme for your wiki pages.

I’ve still got the bug where the wp-socializer code is being pulled into the edit screen.

  7. Cameron says:

Getting the following error which prevents creating a new page or post (only since updating to 1.0. Same with the RC2 beta…)

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\artsales.com.au\httpdocs\AboutArt\wp-content\plugins\beatpanda-WordPress-Wiki-f8dfa2d\controllers\wiki_notifications.php on line 36

    Hi Guys,

Sorry to reach you through the comment form, but I couldn’t find a contact form.

Is there any way to see the plugin in action without installing it? e.g. demo site

    Thanks

  9. Yogie says:

Great Plugin! Is there a way to (auto)migrate any existing wiki?

    • Well, for DokuWiki there is an outdated Java converter, created by a teammate of mine:

Basically it converts DokuWiki to a specific custom post type, so bringing it up to date shouldn’t involve a whole lot of work. If someone would like to try patch it up I’m sure Skye wouldn’t mind providing commit access.

Skye or someone else in the team will probably invest time in updating the script by the time we know for sure that we want to move to WP-Wiki, but that decision lies several months ahead.

  10. Ari says:

Is it possible to create wiki posts (that can have categories) instead of wiki pages? I also get the following two errors:

1: “you don’t have permissions to edit” but then it makes the change
2: Warning: preg_match_all() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in (folder for plugin location) on line 85

I’m using a buddypress theme but the same thing happens in twenty ten

  11. Ari says:

i removed too much of the error message…here is a more complete one

Warning: preg_match_all() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/island9/public_html/islandsofla.org/wp-content/plugins/beatpanda-WordPress-Wiki-f8dfa2d/controllers/wiki_pages.php on line 85
