Hi all. Bug reports, improvements and feature requests are rolling in for WP-Wiki 1.0. Here’s a quick summary:
IMPROVEMENTS
- Multi-language support. We’re working on integrating WordPress Wiki with some available multi-language plugins, and on Github has contributed an RTL stylesheet.
- Better theming support. The stylesheet is easy to get to, as well as the markup for the front-end editor, but we’ll be making this even easier shortly.
KNOWN BUGS
- Several of you have reported getting a fatal error in the admin screen. I’m looking in to this.
- The checkbox in the admin interface for the Table of Contents is broken. This is a simple fix and should be pushed out in a day or so.
To keep things simple, until we have a forum working on this site, please report all future bugs at the or at the WordPress.org support forum.

I’m not sure whether I haven’t figured it out yet or if the feature just isn’t there yet (or maybe there aren’t plans for it), but is it possible for a wiki editor (not an admin) to create a new wiki article from the front-end from scratch (not through a red link)?

He wants a page for users (wiki editors) in which they can add wiki pages from the frontend.
I am trying this plgin with WP 3.0.3 and Buddypress. Here are my problems:
1) I get an error when I go to the settings page: Fatal error: Call to a member function has_cap() on a non-object in /home/island9/public_html/splacemap.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-wiki/controllers/wiki_admin.php on line 41
2) When I try to edit a wiki page through the front end, a window comes up saying I don’t have permissions
I get the same has_cap() error. I’ll post to the github page.
This should be fixed now, I’ll link to the development version in a new post.
