Revision Log

If you want to see the latest code changes for the WP Wiki Plugin then please feel free to peruse the following link whenever it best suits. The WP Wiki Plugin will be updated again within the next few months unless there is an urgent fix required or if somebody else contributes a worthy modification. We’re slowly working on inline editing and a few other features but I don’t have an ETA.

Also I would like to thank Toni Prug for helping integrate the TOC feature in 0.8 it was much appreciated and I’m sure it is appreciated by the community. Toni, apologies for not adding you as an SVN Committer but for some reason wordpress.org does not like your username :(
For everybody else though that wants to take a look at the last lot of changes. And who want to know where to look at the next lot of changes. Then this link is the one to keep in your bookmarks.

Great news! Could development be accelerated if the community were to pitch in with financial contributions? I see this plugin as having huge impact, particularly when combined with an installation of WordPress MU (assuming that’s possible).

Yes development could be accelerated if people sponsored features. Basically people would have to tell us what that want, then we would goto our preferred developers and the the wp pro market and get a quote for the job. The person wanting the feature could then decide whether they wanted to go ahead with it or not.

That seems like the most logical way to fast track feature requests. Currently the developments happen as we need them or as other people supply us with code – like that from Toni Prug who helped integrate the most recent TOC features.

    Hi WP Wiki staff!

Could you publish a detailed list of all the new features or fixes you have planned? That way we could pick the ones we prefer and help you having them coded, by means of financial contributions or maybe code contributions.

I’ve just sent you an email on this subject.
    Thanks

I would be in favour of the above too! Wanna see this project really step up a gear. How far away from inline text editing??

    Hello,

I’m currently testing your plugin, but when I’m logged in I cant see an edit link at pages that should be editable.

When I’m logged out, I see ‘This page is wiki editable click here to edit this page.’, however when I get back there logged in, there’s no link anymore.

I have the latest wordpress, version 2.9.1.

P.S I didn’t see any other way to contact or post for help so sorry for doing this in the comments!

    Thanks

    Hi, I have a request

I run a custom theme on my website http://www.helipadpro.com (still under construction). I would like to remove the right for people to be able to edit add or do anything to my posts as they appear on the home page. I know the revisions will be under review even if a person decides to edit or add a post, but I would like to remove that tab all together to minimize confusion and improve user experience. (I want wiki editors only to be able to edit and add pages). I know you have somehow removed the other tabs and if you could please point me in the right direction to do it myself that would be great. All google searches revealed absolutely nothing. Thanks for your time

    Nikolai

You have really great taste on catch article titles, even when you are not interested in this topic you push to read it

Seems maybe development has come to a halt? As a mere follower and advocate of WordPress wiki functionality, I’d like to forward readers to the following plugin:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-group-wiki/

If the authors of wp-wiki are still around, I’d encourage you to check out the aforementioned plugin, and consider giving it your support. The plugin is still very open to major changes, as seen here for example:

Best of luck finding the right wiki solution everyone!

Hi, this definitely sounds like a great plug-in. I’m sure there are many like me who appreciate all the hard work which the team has put in so far. I was hoping to try it out soon BUT…

I am using WordPress 2.9.2 for my site. And I’ve heard that it’s not yet compatible. =/ Am really hoping that it can be updated soon! Maybe you guys are already working on this??

    Thanks!

  11. I’m developing a website for a Scout Group and I want to use your plugin. I can add two features: a) i18n (the group is in Colombia so it has to be in spanish), and b) to use an external style if the user’s theme has it.

I can send you the patch. Is there a SVN version to use before starting to add those features?

    Sorry for my bad english.
