WP Wiki 0.8 Update

WP Wiki has been updated. Check out these new user contributed features:

Setting to show Table of Content on front page

If you display only the first part of your posts on the front page of your website then previously you would have ended up with a “TOC” within a single item/post, which is useless. Also you may not want to have a TOC on the front page posts in general, as you may find that it clutters your blog. People who do want it on the front page, can check the box that is now present under the Wiki Settings page.

Cron Facility

We have implemented the WP cron facility for sending batch email notifications to administrators when “Wiki Editors” make changes to your site.

The plan is to extend this functionality so that you can select how often you want receive these emails i.e. once per week vs once per day vs an email for every change.

Could you please direct me to the download for this latest release? Also, is this plug-in still only 2.7 compatible as it says on the plug-in entry at wordpress.org?

I left a comment earlier at one of your old entries over at Instinct.co.nz, but seems it didn’t reach anyone. Just to be sure this time, I’m gonna send you an e-mail as well ;)

Got your email. We’re actively working on this project, actually we’re looking at some of those features listed on the prioritizing features blog post. We’re working on inline editing and pending revisions.

It would be cool if more people contributed to this Plugin. From what I understand about wikipress, they are more into making something that uses old school wiki syntax etc where our main goal is to do for wikis what WordPress did for blogging. We’re working on some nice visual editor stuff at the mo.

    Ciao :)

I got the warning message in my blog.

Warning: preg_match_all() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/patternrecognition.cn/subdomains/people/httpdocs/sunmingming/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-wiki/wordpress-wiki.php on line 394

What is this about? Please help me to clear the warning.

The sign in to edit the wiki page does not work.

Using plug in WordPress Wiki .8, and my using the link in the sentence: “This page is wiki editable click here to edit this page.” takes them back to a log in page, even after they have already logged in. Logging in again — back to the wiki page — click the link — back to the log in page. A constant loop.
    PLEASE – PLEASE help
    Thank you
